Hello from sunny Soho. That’s a picture of our recent press and outdoor campaign for The Sun newspaper. Those of you who live within the M25 wouldn’t have seen this bad boy. But for people who live out in the provinces and lead real lives, you may have had this slapped on a hoarding near you in the past few weeks. We came up with a new line to convey that the paper is the first and last word in football news. You can’t see it in this one as it’s hidden in the bottom-left-hand corner of the 48-sheet. Anyway, it says: “Football. We’re All Over It.” All this stuff will be put into the main website soon. We’re that busy. Which is not a bad thing, eh?
On another note, we recently finished work on the TV ad for the new Sky+HD campaign. You’ve probably seen it by now. It’s called Fragments and has minute detail animated layer upon painstaking layer from stills. Yes, not one part of that campaign is moving footage. We had to flog our poor animator - the unflappable Charlie Cassidy at The Unit.
You can watch the ad right here…
Anyhow, various people have been asking who the hell is singing the True Colours music - originally made famous by flame-haired popstrel, Cyndi Lauper. Well, it’s Norway’s Ane Brun, who has been the talk of the electro-mail since the ad appeared on your telly. So, bloggers, fret not. It is she, and below is a YouTube clip of her doing warbling. Enjoy.
