…Lab Rats. Yes Sam’s short film has won the Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at the San Luis Obispo Film Festival. The win is extra special because it beat God Of Love, the film that won the Oscar for Best Short Film. So huge congratulations are in order for Sam “Spielberg” Washington and everyone that worked on the film. I don’t have a current picture of Sam looking smug, as he is on a reccy today. So you will have to settle for an old one.
We recently produced this sweet little film called “Brands In Hands” which has got some really great coverage on the Creative Review blog amongst others. It was illustrated by the very talented Richard Fairhead and animated by the equally talented SisterArrow.

We got a great piece of news this morning, it seems that in the Campaign league tables we have broken into the top 30. Hot on the heals of some of the heavy hitters so watch out big boys, 2011 is our year. Feel free to have a perusal on the campaign website if you want to know who’s doing what and where they are in the league.

The other week Andy was asked to talk at an IPA conference about how agencies should run traffic and production in the future within this ever changing media landscape. He spoke about putting brands in people’s hands which is all about how different types of media can help big ideas come to life.
It was a great event with a very interesting Q&A session at the end where many heavy hitters from the industry had a good ol’ fashioned debate about creative services. The conference was filmed but as yet has not been posted on their website. When it surfaces I’ll post it here.

Our great Pulteney Street office is undergoing a beautiful transformation. Lots of sculpting, painting and knocking down of walls. Well where are we I hear you ask?
