Museum of London wanted a poster campaign to open their new gallery wing. Instead we persuaded them to build an app that allowed old images to be overlayed on real time images of modern London. And see both together. Taking the museum out onto the streets into peoples hands instead of tucked away in the Barbican. The results were crazy. Over a million people down loaded and used the app. Over laying images on real life became a huge cultural mime and at the last count over 40 apps had used the same technique. Millions of pounds of free press coverage. And we never needed a poster.
